Northridge, Calif. - Junior Jonathan Golden placed third in the high jump Friday at the NCAA Regional Track and Field Championships and he will advance to the national championship meet June 11 in Des Moines, Iowa.

Golden cleared 6-feet-11 (2.11 meters) to automatically advance. No other Cal State Fullerton performer qualified for nationals in the first of the two-day event at Cal State Northridge.
