TITANS `07: Played in 53 of the Titans' 63 games and started 47 times • Made three starts in left field, 30 in right field, and 14 as the teams' designated hitter • Picked up his first career hit on Feb. 2 vs. Stanford in his fourth at-bat, also driving in his first career RBI • Blasted his first career home run on Mar. 9 at East Carolina • Had 12 multiple-hit games, and three times collected three hits in a game • Had three RBI in a game on three occasions and nine games with two or more RBI • Was named Big West Conference Player of the Week on March 5 after a week that saw him go 5-for-10 (.500) with five doubles and five RBI against nationally-ranked Rice at home • Hit .357 in the San Diego Regional, going 5-for-14 with a pair of doubles and an RBI • Hit an even .300 in the postseason, going 9-for-30 with three doubles, while driving in three • Had a hit in eight of his last nine games, including a seven-game hitting streak that saw him hit .393 (11-for-28) with 3 RBI and seven runs scored.

MISSION VIEJO HS: Was a four-year letterman at Mission Viejo High School in Mission Viejo, Calif., for Coach Chris Ashbach • Hit .396 with nine home runs for the Diablos as a senior, going 8-1 with a 1.02 ERA on the bump as well • Hit 22 home runs as a junior and senior (10 and 12, respectively) earning himself first-team All-South Coast League honors as a junior and league MVP honors as a senior • Earned his team's MVP award as a junior and senior • Earned high school All-American status as well all-state honors his senior season • Was ranked No. 58 by Baseball America as a top high school prospect • Played Connie Mack baseball with the Long Beach Cardinals.
